In celebration of God’s
faithfulness, Deacon ThankGod Ani and Mrs. Deborah Chimezie-Ani dedicated their
baby, Chimbusonma Akuerika Chimezie, at Living Faith Church (Winners’ Chapel
International) in Mbaukwu, Awka South Local Government Area, Anambra State. The
event, filled with gratitude and praise, was a powerful witness to God's
enduring promises.
The dedication ceremony, held in
the church auditorium, was officiated by Pastor Emeka Ezenwa, who began by
reminding the congregants of the profound truth that children are blessings
from God, gifts to be cherished and celebrated. He emphasized that God is
always faithful to His word and will perfect everything that concerns His
people. "God’s blessings make rich, and no sorrow is added to it,"
Pastor Ezenwa declared.
Pastor Ezenwa also took the
opportunity to admonish the church, urging the congregants not to let their
expectations be cut short. He cautioned them never to underestimate the power
of prophecy, encouraging them to hold firm to God's written word in the Bible.
“These prophecies will come to pass in your lives,” he said, reminding the
audience of the importance of faith and belief in God's promises.
Turning his focus to the
dedicated child, Chimbusonma Akuerika Chimezie, Pastor Ezenwa proclaimed that
she would be mightily used for God’s glory. He declared that she would be
outstanding in life, accomplish her purpose, and become a formidable force
against the kingdom of darkness. He further stated that her name would be
mentioned in high places and that she would be part of the generation tasked
with spreading the gospel to the ends of the earth.
In his prayer, Pastor Ezenwa
affirmed that Chimbusonma would enjoy sound health and longevity, with no
forces able to cut her life short. He prayed that she would grow into a
well-rounded individual, making the right decisions at the right time. Citing
her arrival as a fulfillment of prophecy, Pastor Ezenwa declared that she would
also prophesy to the world, with God’s word working effectively in her life. He
prayed that her influence would spread globally and that no weapon formed
against her would prosper.
The blessing extended beyond
the child, as Pastor Ezenwa prayed for her parents, asking God to guide them in
raising her to greater heights. He prayed that the joy Chimbusonma brought to
their lives would never cease and that, in turn, she would care for them as
they nurtured her to fulfill her destiny.
Praying for the parents, Pastor
Ezenwa quoted Psalm 91:16, “With long life will God satisfy the family,” and
urged them to stand firm in faith, trusting that the Lord would continue to show
them His salvation. He also referenced Deuteronomy 8:18, declaring open doors
of financial blessing and upliftment for the family. "The resources that
Deacon ThankGod Ani and Mrs. Deborah Chimezie-Ani will need for their children
will not lack," he said, further praying that the celebration of the
baby’s dedication would be a continuous source of joy for the entire family.
An elated Deacon ThankGod Ani,
the CEO Solace Phoenix IMPEX Ltd, Awka, expressed his gratitude to God for His
faithfulness in blessing their family with Chimbusonma. He echoed Pastor
Ezenwa’s declaration, praying that the child would be mightily used for God's
glory, excel in life, and fulfill her divine purpose. He also prayed for her
sound health and divine protection, affirming that she would bring honor to the
family and that God would guide her steps throughout her life.
Speaking with deep emotion,
Mrs. Deborah Chimezie-Ani expressed her overwhelming joy and gratitude to God
for the gift of Chimbusonma. "We got married eight years ago," she
recalled, "and after four years of waiting, by the prophetic word of
Pastor Ezenwa, our first son came." However, she said there was a delay
before the arrival of their second child. Pastor Ezenwa had prayed that the
same power of God that brought the first child would also bring the second, and
she was encouraged to believe God’s promise.
"I expressed calmness over the issue, and the peace and assurance that it was done overwhelmed me," Mrs. Chimezie-Ani continued. "Last December, I conceived, and I’m here to return all the glory to God." She attributed their years of waiting after the birth of their first child to God's perfect timing and the prophetic word spoken over their lives. The birth of Chimbusonma, she said, was a fulfillment of God's promise.
