Woman Arrested For Transporting Ammunition To Terrorists In Katsina

Security forces in Katsina State have apprehended Aisha Abubakar for allegedly transporting ammunition to terrorists, according to security analyst and counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama.

The incident, reported on Monday, saw authorities discovering ammunition in Abubakar’s luggage during a routine search, Makama stated.

Initially denying involvement, Abubakar later confessed to transporting the ammunition from Nassarawa state to a terrorist group, Makama explained.

Further interrogation revealed Abubakar's intended destination as Yan Tumaki in Dan Musa LGA, Katsina state.

Makama highlighted the significance of the arrest in counter-terrorism efforts, emphasizing the ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and the importance of vigilance in preventing illegal weapons proliferation.
