Hon. Anagor made this statement
on Tuesday, 19th March 2024, at the official commissioning of the Ezinator road
at Ntokor, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The 26-kilometre road, which
spans from Amansea and cuts across three villages (Ndiora, Ntokor, and Ndikpa),
making up Ezinator community and connecting to Ndiukwuenu, Awa, and Ufuma
respectively, will help the people of Orumba North and South easily access the
Awka State Capital in a short time.
Speaking at the event, the Awka
South LGA Boss, Hon. ThankGod Anagor, described Governor Chukwuma Soludo as a
seasoned administrator with reference to the ongoing projects across the 30
constituencies of the State. He noted that the completion and commissioning of
over 100 kilometers of roads across the state was a clear indication that
Soludo’s administration is focused and ready to provide more infrastructural
development in the next few years.
According to the Awka City
Mayor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, restructuring strategy has effectively
optimized governance and brought about a total turnaround and transformation in
the state. He commended Governor Soludo for renewing the people's faith in
government by reaching out to areas left behind in development by the previous
administration, especially communities totally cut off in the past from the
common wealth of the state.
Hon. Anagor went further to say
that it is time for Ndi Anambra to do away with politics of lies, bitterness,
manipulation, and frustration and embrace unity, equity, and justice for the
peace and prosperity of all. He called for maximum support for the ace Anambra
Governor for the task ahead.
Also speaking, the
President-General, Ezinator Development Union, Hon. Chizoba Okoli, while
appreciating the Governor for fostering peace, unity, stability, and
development in communities across the entire twenty local government areas by
extensive road projects and other tremendous and impressive infrastructural and
human capital development, emphasized that Governor Soludo is determined to
fulfill his pledge of bringing disruptive change and non-discriminatory
governance to every nook and cranny of Anambra State.
He noted that the governor's
passionate efforts in reducing the hardship of the people through major road
projects and other basic infrastructure cannot be overemphasized as it has
indeed deeply and positively impacted their lives.
Hon. Okoli, on behalf of the
community, assured absolute commitment and support to Governor Soludo's
administration and promoted the APGA-led Government agenda.
Responding, Governor Soludo,
while appreciating the mammoth crowd for their passionate display of love and
support, stated that the road projects are only a partial fulfillment of his
gubernatorial campaign promises and assured that more is underway.
He noted that his administration will continue to prioritize the basic needs of the entire Ndi Anambra irrespective of party affiliation or religious inclination, affirming the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA mantra of "be your brother's keeper". Governor Soludo promised to do more with more encouragement and support from Ndi Anambra.
