The occasion was the funeral of Prince Neville Uchendu's late father, Nze John Onwuesogbue Uchendu, affectionately known as Uno Udo Di.

The event took place at Ogboji in Orumba South LGA, Anambra State, as these influential figures came together to commemorate the life of Nze Uchendu.

Sir Bobby Okwuosa, a close ally of Chairman Prince Neville Uchendu, described their relationship as that of "good old friends," signifying an enduring and unwavering friendship that has stood the test of time. He reminisced about their shared history and highlighted the pivotal role he played in Prince Uchendu's journey, even before he became the Mayor of Atlanta. "Because of me, he came down to Atlanta from New York. He is like a brother to me; I consider him my father's son. We have come a long way. I am delighted with his current status, which he rightfully earned through hard work," shared Sir Okwuosa, emphasizing the depth of their bond.



On this occasion, Sir Bobby Okwuosa also reflected on the legacy left behind by Nze Uchendu. He stated, "There is a saying, 'It is not what you take when you go, but what you leave behind.' Nze Uchendu left someone like Prince Uchendu behind, and that is truly beautiful. Wherever his father is today, I am confident he would be proud to have left someone like Prince Uchendu behind to carry on his legacy."

In response, Prince Neville Uchendu expressed his deep gratitude and admiration for Sir Bobby Okwuosa, referring to him as not just a friend but a brother. Their journey, which began in the United States, is marked by a bond that has transcended continents and time. "He was in the United States before me," noted Prince Uchendu, "and he offered me advice that has sustained me to this day. It is advice that I will cherish for the rest of my life. He is a brother from another mother, and when it comes to advice, I cannot do without him. I love him, and I know he loves me too. We have both succeeded in business, and he is a significant part of my success story."
